It started as the most amazing fantasy， epic in proportions。 But the series as a whole became so convoluted that it lost momentum， with large portions of the later books simply focused on trying to tie up loose ends 。。。 while making more。

Cannot say enough good things about these books！4-6 are definitely slower and about the background and character development， but the action is all built from the knowledge in these books so I recommend reading all of it to really get the full world depth！
